Paris Rive Gauche
Paris Rive Gauche est une cartographie narrative d'abord réalisée lors de l'installation dans mon atelier, puis adaptée pour une édition et une exposition d'urbanisme du Pavillon de l'Arsenal sur ce nouveau territoire urbain.
Le travail s'est appuyé sur l'élaboration, pendant plusieurs années, d'une posture "d'artiste de quartier". allant à la rencontre des personnages, des voisins, des fantômes de l'ancien quartier industriel ferroviaire. Il rend compte des manières d'habiter et des espaces vécus qui ont accompagné les différentes étapes de la transformation urbaine.
Il complète une approche technique par un envers humain, un chantier urbain au quotidien, la réalité d'être pionnier dans un quartier en construction, les lieux stratégiques, ceux des rassemblements informels, les détournements d'usage, les nominations, les limites du territorie d'usage.

Paris Rive Gauche is a narrative cartography that was first elaborated when I moved into my studio, then adapted for the book publishing and an urban planning exhibition on the new urban territoire.
The work is based on a slow , years-long, attempt to build a "neighbourhood artist" posture. Through the quest for neighboorhood characters, meetings with neighbours, ghosts of the previous industrial railway neighbourhood. It reports the ways of being there, the lived spaces that changed with the urban transformation.
Its adaptation for the urban planning project is completing the technical approach with a more human side, the dayly life in a construction site, the pionneer's reality in a transforming area, the strategic places, those of informal gathering, the diverted uses, the nominations, the limits of the usage territory.
