La fin de la lumière / The end of the light
La fin de la lumière est une série d'images imprimées.
Elles sont produites à partir de la limite technique d'un appareil numérique standard, la recherche d'une situation géographique propice, et d'un système d'impression (encre+papier) alliant résistance et légèreté.
1 - Capturer la fin de la lumière :
Un avion vers le nord de l'Europe en décembre, puis poursuivre en voiture et franchir le cercle polaire.
Une forêt, une cabane, un lac gelé.
Des journées passées à attendre la fin de la lumière et à la photographier aux limites de l'appareil.
2- Restituer la fin de la lumière :
Les images de basse qualité sont agrandies
Le processus d'impression vise
la résistance et le voyage : une encre UV sur du papier japonais, fin et solide.

The end of the light is a series of printed images.
It's been produced focusing on the limits of a common digital camera, the quest for an auspicious geographical context, and a printing system (ink-paper) combining resistance and lightness.
1 - Capturing the end of the light :
A plane to the North of Europe in december, then keep driving North and passing the polar circle line.
A forest, a cabin, a frozen lake.
Days spent waiting for the end of the light and phographing with the limits of the camera.
2- Reporting the end of the light :
Low qualities images are enlarged
LThe printing process is aiming at resistance and portability : a UV ink on japanese paper — fine and resistant.
